Colour code

Hi I'm trying to find out what the colour code is for my mk1 golf gti cab.
Its a 1988 model in silver.
Does anyone know a links with colour codes?

If you look in the boot the colour code should be on a plate/sticker.

I think it is on the left hand side near the wheel arch .
