College Project help from all of ya plzz!!

Hey all, ive been a user for some time now but jsut never been able to sign in.

getting straight to the point, ive gota get on with my A2 Design project at colelge and im looking at doing a 3D billboard or other type of advertising project. im 3months behind with my work.

im after your help peeps!!

just need to clarify some dates

when was the first golf released?? is it 1974? therefore manking it 30 years, this year.

would it be 30 years of the gti next year? as ive read the gti was shown at motorshows in 1975

and is it 21 years of the campaign this year??


as you can see im prob fairly confused….

id appreciate all your help and i hope i can contribute my knoledge to some of you in other sections.

Production of the Golf commenced in Wolfsburg in April 1974

The Golf GTi was launched at the Frankfurt IAA Motorshow in September 1975

Production of the GTi commenced in June 1976.

Campaign production started in Summer 1983 before the August Model Year 1984 change.
