We'd have to see what's involved and what the insurance stuff looks like, but in principle I'd support it, as long as it is on a good track (castle coomb or similar). Some of the smaller ones are glorified old airfields and the tarmac is a bit rough, leading to stone chips etc!!
We could do different sessions. Everyone, a slow cruise for show cars, GTIs only, Non-GTIs only etc…

I was there too in a silver mk2 1.9 8v, made a couple of pictures in the mag. One with the inside rear wheel off the ground 8)mk1jim said
years ago i took my first mk1 on a Revs track day. it was at three sisters racetrack. nw terrory . not a fast track but brilliant for golf's .
very tight little track full of nice twist and turns
