Club Track Days

Is there any possibility of starting up some club run track days?  Likes of Oulton Park and Castle Combe would be great.  If Club GTI do it, then we can.  They do it for around 150 quid.

Perhaps SW and NW lot can settle there differences (joke) on the track?! I'd be up for that.  That's a direct challenge to the NW lot by the way

It would be good to have a mk1 only trackday, I'm sure our events chappie might have a thought or two!

We'd have to see what's involved and what the insurance stuff looks like, but in principle I'd support it, as long as it is on a good track (castle coomb or similar). Some of the smaller ones are glorified old airfields and the tarmac is a bit rough, leading to stone chips etc!!

We could do different sessions. Everyone, a slow cruise for show cars, GTIs only, Non-GTIs only etc…

Cheers,

Drew.

I would definitely be up for this! The North west would kick a$$! Bring it on.
NWM RULES

Oulton park would be my choice.

I don't know if anyone reads Evo magazine here?
Evoactive track days look pretty good value for money. There are some contact details on here.

I used to own a mk1 - well I've had 2 actually - YDU 720X & SMU 420Y. Currently I drive an 98 Scotia White Mitsubishi Evolution V RS…. fancy getting another mk1 someday :D

I wouldn't want to race him on the strip but I bet I could have him round the 3 sisters

Nice little track that… plenty of 3 wheel action.
