Club Regalia....

Folks,

I've had a look into this…

I've found an online store that can make goods 'on demand', which means that we don't have to have somebody look after a stock somewhere. All we do is simply supply the graphics, they make it up and ship it out whenever an item is ordered. We can get caps, hats, teashirts, stickers etc (even thongs…might pass on that one  8O … I can see those going down a storm   )

The problem is that they are US based, rather than UK which means we would incur a $7 postage charge per order. (Around ?3.90 at todays exchange rates). All items would be billed in dollars too. Unfortunuately there doesn't seem to be a UK equivalent… Business venture anyone?

Teashirts would cost $8.99, mugs $10.99 etc

Loads of other shops around the UK use the service and quality is reported to be excellent however.

I have set up a demo 'shop' here

What do you think?

Cheers,

Drew.

Shame there is no UK equivalent.

Shop looks good as a frame work.

Most of the clubs I am involved in do their own regalia (funding, ordering, shipping etc).  I guess that they can manage once they have some funds to do the batch ordering.  So for us it may be a good way to start off and then bring "in house" when we are ready.

On a slightly different point - Wouldn't we want to give stickers away for new joiners?

Paul (aka Devo) who runs www.demonvw.co.uk does merchandise.
Might be worth asking who he gets it through?

I don't really know of anyone else who does stuff like this?

Do we have to agree on a Club logo before we can do the merchandise?

Great idea tho Drew!
