If it's only done 500 miles there appears to have been alot done to it
What are the receipts? Two tanks of fuel

Should clearly state that, it's advertised as a 500 mile car  8O
By the amount of work claimed to have been done the 500 miles must've been done at a Belle Vue stock car meet

This IS a genuine 25yr old 500 mile car :

Personally I'd be wary of a car that has  done so few miles, means it's been sitting around for ages, not good. Would prefer a low mileage one that's done 1k/year to one that's done 20'ish/year. And who would buy a cheap car like a Golf and only put 500 miles on it in over 20 years?

As for the restored one, a good restoration isn't cheap as many will know especially if you're paying for labour. Still wouldn't pay that much for a Golf however nice it was, would have thought ?10K would be top money.
