Does anyone know what has happened to club gti?? I haven't been able to get on for nearly 2 days now. Is anyone else having the same trouble??

Didn't know that. I used to go on there a bit, but in the past 2 weeks I haven't been on. I've just tried it again myself and can't get on. Maybe they didn't pay their electricity bill, or something?

i been trying for two days also with no luck, thought it was me at first!

cant get in either :dontknow: , i reckon someones hacked them!!

Glad it's not just me. Maybe we could all chip in and give them some cash to pay the leccy bill  

still, be intresting to know why its gone down, i love that site, has good info for my other veedubs

It looks like their host provider has a serious network/routing issue, if you try to PING www.clubgti.com, it expires in transit. If you do a TRACERT www.clubgti.com, you can see how it loops between 2 routers. With these types of issue, they invariably set off an alarm and are dealt with within the hour. If its been going on 2 days, its something more serious than a misconfiguration or turning the computer off and then on again (that works quite a lot of the time).

I remember the same happening at edition 38 a while back, think they were upgrading the servers or something but don't think it was as long as 2 days

usually the host sends an email telling the owner of the forum that they will be down for x number of hours giving the owner enough time to send an email to all members. if youve had no email or warning then its probably an un expected error.

Someone has given them 10 bob for the meter its back on
