Car Parks

Might make some of you laugh this…

When walking through a car park back towards your golf, does anyone ever feel the urge to get your phone out and start taking pictures of it?

(if not then i must be the only geek lol)

I was parked next to a licoln navigator yesterday, my golf looked like a micro machine next to it!!!!

Sadly i didnt take a picture cause it was busy and the truth is i do feel like a bit of a nerd if i did!  

The point im getting at though, is the feeling, when you get out of the car, you wanna look back at it as you walk away and when you come back to it you just wanna admire, cause it is such a cool and rare spectacle  8)

oh my god i am a nerd aswell, i whole heartedly agree with you, when I lock mine up for the night I always tell him to be good and wish him goodnight... ops:

Your not the only ones.

I show my cab all the presents i've brought it, i tend to talk to her when i'm pottering about in the garage aswell.

Its not just a car!! shes got feelings too!!! lol

i think everyones a bit like that,   i bet everyone on this forum shouts and swears at their mk1 when it/he/she goes wrong  

at least they dont answer back like your other half

You know you've got a brilliant car when you can't help but look back when you've parked up. I alwayd have a look back just to remind myself how lucky I am.

I do that!

And I try to park so that I walk towards the front of the car - smiling  :mrgreen:

I also try to park at work so I can see the front of the golf from the building!

I park right outside my door at work so everytime I look up there he is just smiling back at me…i'm sure he winks at me when i park him up in the evenings…

This is quite a revelation, I'll have to watch where I park in future.

Hehe, i knew i wasn't the only one!

I pop home for lunch everyday and pass my little beauty everyday. I always think to myself "The person that owns that car is so lucky"… Then i remember

Thank god I am not the only one out there….

Does anyone else have a photo of their MK1 set as a Desktop picture on the PC AND laptop???  All my work mates think I am insane - bovvered    - makes my day !!!

Yeah, I cant help but want to talk to it. Its more than a machine afterall, its a good friend aswell (even though ive only had her a few days.) Its only right to talk to it and personify it.

Glad to see i'm not alone.

I always try and park the car right outside the house and I can never resist one last look before going to bed at night!  

I actually get jelous of the envious looks people give the car when I pass cause I want to see what there seeing!!!  

The only bad thing about driving the car is i can't look at her when doing it!!!
