car cover

I havnt got the luxury of a garage so im having to strip car outside.Can anyone reccomend a car cover for outside needs to be breathable and waterproof.
Need to sort one asap as next job is to remove all glass

i used Tyvek (i think?) which I got from Halfords. I've just got back from 6 months abroad and all was well and dry. The medium size should be good.

Do you get any trouble with covers?? ie: wind/movement scratching the paintwork??

Have to say that i havent had any trouble at all but when my car comes back from the spray shop im going to cover the car in a cotton cloth first just in case. It has blown off once (In an awful storm)but the ties underneath stopped it blowing away . I would recommend them . :y:

Also if you do buy from halfords follow blackies advice and go for medium mines small and its dosent cover the whole car there's about 1 foot of car showing underneath , still covers all the leaky bits.

i got mine from argos ?20 one fits mk1 great, just need to put some string at all four corners and tie them to the wheels then it wont come off or move, i have had no trouble or scratches from it, i really recomend it.  if anyone is interested i will take a shot of it on the car so that you can see.

i heard that these are bad news, being that they hold moisture in, condensation etc?

are these covers from halfords proper breathable covers or just plastic sheets

i think the own brand one from halfords is just water proof not breathable, but the one i got is made by Tyvek (?), was more money but after leaving on for 6 months (jan to june) no problems with it.

I just followed the instructions only put it  on the car if its dry and generally speaking its off most weekends so moisture dosent get to build up in mine
