I was polishing my chrome bumpers when I first had them, off the car on the steps out back. Took a step back to admire them and trod on one of the hangers.

I fell, make that flew, the rest of the way down the steps and hit the patio with a thud.

When I trod on the hanger, I had turned over on my ankle and it swelled up immediatley. Wife came out joking about seeing superman in the garden and saw I was in pain…"oh, er, what do you want me to do?… Do you want a beer?"  :banghead:

A flippin' beer hahaha - we still laugh about that today!

DUB HIT…. leaking fuel??? What again… after Gaydon'04's near miss!!

 :dontknow:

Knuckles, knuckles, knuckles!!!! ALWAYS get stripped and blood issues everywhere!!!

Hardest thing I did was getting the alternator bolt out that was seized. We had to use heat to get it moving and needless to say fingers got burnt and knuckles grazed!!

My mate was welding up the screen piller of a big old military vehicle with an oxy torch.  He was stodd on the wheel arch which was ten foot up in the car.  He finished part of the job, lifted his visor and took a step backwards to asses his work.

Next thing ke knows he's winded lying on his back with a spinning head - lit oxy torch still in his hand - oh how we laughed!!

Was changing the rivet in my manual rivet gun, unscrewed the back, pulled the handle off and gradually pushed a bolt to one side which held the back of the gun inplace so i could get to the rivet. Next think I knew I was sitting on my backside rubbing my eye, there was a very compressed heavy spring behind that bolt…I thought it was a bit difficult to remove.

I thought I would've gotten blind after that but lucky my eye closed intime heh.

Bloody painful experience though!

Also took me 2 hours to find this bolt, gave up after 5 minutes of looking but eventually stood on it when i went to pop my bonnet heh.

Still yet to put the thing back together though.

sounds like I've been quiet lucky so far then! only the usual spanner slaps but did managed to burn my head from weld splatter… oh and didn't notice a fire underneath the car after welding the outer arch on until I was going through the pictures I'd taken that day
