can u help me find my eng number plz

 I hav a mk1 Golf GTI Campaigne 1.8 8v DX Engine can any1 tel me were i can find the engine number on the block please thanks u if u can help tomo

just under the cylinder head as you look at the engine from the front lights.

might be dirty, so just clean it away.
