campaign prices

i was browsing pistonheads a few days ago and saw a black campaign that is now sold and it was in good condition for ?2000. is this not an extremely low price to pay for a car in that condition and does this not mean that people who advertise their campaigns for ?4000+ are way overpriced????

sounds like Malc old gti was it black with red rear lights? (which was a bargain Mal?) all i would say to that is unless you see any car in the flesh you can only go by how the seller describes a car which in my experince is never accurate, i also think the word mint is over used
i'm not a fan of campaings (There not rare!) but would pay over 4K for a truley mint late series 2 if i was looking for one :wink:
