I was out bid on a white diesel with 93K on the clock in the same condition as that black one....maybe even better as it had a respray and mot etc. It went for ?900. Bargain! absolutely gutted must have been worth around ?2k

I have been looking for one the last 2 years and they have gragually crept up to ridiculouse money! bit like the old air cooled campers ey? but thankfully they are going back down slighty...... It just show what peopel will do for a cool looking ride because they aint exactly practical lol

i had a mate who bought one about 4 years back as they were cheaper than the mk2 he wanted at the time! think hes still got it!!?

so so so glad the prices have started to rocket as it means that my project mint before i started will be worth a fortune when its finished!! (keep telling the parents its a house deposit in waiting :roll: )

I overlooked a minter a coupel of years back, was totally original and ?350 but we decided against it.. its one of those things that i willalways kick myself about now, especially as circumstances have changed now  and I'd love one…
