cabby door handles

Hi all,
Are the mk1 cabby's door handles and mechanism the same as a hardtop mk1's?
Can't seem to find any chrome cabby handles cheap and fleabay only has hardtop mk1 handles.

No not the same, but will fit.

Depending on if you have early or later cabby, tintop which was only early unless you have a citi where the option you have of course are the later fitting type handles  the hook part of the later handles same as mk2 golf is slighty larger and you would have to just trim down the tip of the hook away as the hook part (Plastic) is slightly longer, use a dremel 2 secs job done.
The hook part i refer to fits in the location hole next to the external screw hole on the door handle area  :wink:
