Bought a MK2 (sorry)

Well i was going to get nothing after having the mk1 for such a short time ops: dont get me wrong as i think the mk1's are cracking but i have just always had a pinning for a mk2 ops: i got the mk1 as i thought it would be more suited to my ageing years but it just was not for me :dontknow: anyway i will still pop over to see how things are going and thanks to the club for its help during my brief ownership.

No worries mate, I've never had a MK2 but would still be tempted if I had the space for one as always quite liked the look of the MK2 too! :wink:

I like mk2s and have even thought about selling the mk3 to get another mk2. IMO I think they were the last of the great VW GTI, more refined than a mk1 and not as soft as a mk3, a good allround daily driver which looks cool and has bags more style than most modern cars 8) Enjoy your new car Tara.
