biker been shot dead on the m40? near gaydon apparantly??

gaydon, warwick is that where the show was held this weekend? could have a load of forum members stuck on the m40 as they've shut a load of it with the cars still on it 8O

Yep…had to divert round one of the junctions to get back onto the motorway… See here.

looks like you got lucky there then paul mate.

on sky news they reckon it could be quite a few hours yet due to the finger tip searches and statements that need taking. and they've already been there 6 hrs it said,  last thing you want on a sunday evening.

obviously better than the poor bloke who's been killed, hopefully they'll catch  those responsible.

i left gaydon a early about 3ish becuase i had a party to go to, on the way up the m40 (towards birmingham) there were huge tailbacks on the opposite carridgeway, an ambulance and police were present trying to resusitate someone in the 3rd lane, and there were a few motorbikes around, didnt have a clue what was going on, but the motorway was packed on the southbound side.

later that afternoon my parents were coming back from oxfordshire, up the m40 and they were stuck for 4 hours on the northbound, aparently they closed both sides of the motorway to do forensic testing as it was a murder scene !
