Stanford Hall May Bank hol.
Somehow they always have sunny weather and a nice spread of vintage aircooled stuff, camper buses and later water cooled Golfs etc.

The trouble with doing nothing is that you never know when you are finished.

My faves last year were AGM, Malvern.
I quite like UD but the lights give me a headache after a bit and the NEC classic car show is good.
I prefer the camping ones though so gonna do them all this year!! Just need to pitch a couple of tents away from Ansar cos he snores like a bloody walrus

Stanford Hall, Stonor Park (mainly aircooled)and AGM
I wont bother with Gti International anymore. Shame, as it was a great show when at TRL
Not been to any others recently so cant comment. Always fancied going to Tatton Park (nr Chester area i think?)

Big bang, Santa Pod in May. My mates kids love watching the cars on the strip.
Stonor Park June, nice and chilled.
Bug Jam, Santa Pod in July. Same reason as Big Bang.

I think that the GTI International organisers are going to have a shock this year, the entry prices have gone through the roof, £20 if you turn up on the day, and that is per day, robbery, you do not even get a sprint for that.
I like the GTI spring festival, but only because I can have some fun sprinting.
The owners club meet is great though, relaxed and about the cars and the people who look after them.
I go to Dub.Freeze in Feb because it is close and it is great to walk around the car park.
Then on to Ultimate Dubs.

VW festival at Harewood house is ok and not to far for you to travel Jase71.
Stanford Hall is the best show for me, but I've never made it down to the AGM. :redfaced:

My personal faves are VWNW at Tatton Park in Cheshire and VW Festival at Harewood House, Leeds which are easy enough to get to from Hull.
Both have a great, friendly atmosphere in excellent surroundings.
