Bad weekend...

Jebus, what a rubbish weekend i had…

firstly i went out saturday night, got headbutted by a man at least twice my age for no apparent reason-it broke my nose. Found out my sunroof on my car is pretty useless, i might as well leave it open when it rains, AND i got skanked on ebay, sold and sent something, their cheque bounced….what next?

Sunroof should hold out the water no problem - check your drain tubes are clear.

how would i be able to check the drain holes? It only leaks from the rear….and it was after some proper hardcore rain!

Does anyone know what rights i have within ebay regarding bounced cheques etc? Im generally not an ebayer (specially now!) so i dunno what to do next, or do i just accept ive been skanked?

I had to retreive some money I'd sent via paypal not so long ago and only got half back   have no idea what you can do with personal cheques   I'm sure ebay has some stuff on it.

If you sell on there again, make sure the cheque clears before sending goods.. not that it helps you now though!

my bank had the money in it thursday and friday! Im thinkin cos i have the persons address, and theyre in bournemouth going down maybe, with my new improved thug nose it would be quite humourous! :twisted:

ive given them the benefit of the doubt, and said if it were a mistake they got til the end of the day to cough up, or i will then get mr ebay involved..

I feel for you RE the nose situation…

Years ago I was walking through town with a couple of mates on our way to the cinema when a group of lads snuck up on us from behind.
One jumped on my back and swung a punch around and cought be smack on the nose. I think it knocked me out for a second as all I remember after that is being on my knees with blood dripping onto the floor seeing Triple!

Stood up put my hands to my face and felt that my nose was broken (pushed to the left…). Don't know why, but I though I'd better put it back, so re-set it there and then. It wasn't hurting too much until I did that LOL  :roll:  
Follow-up appointment at hosp - Doc said, "well you did my job for me, so If your happy, we'll leave it be". You'd never say I'd broken it to look at me… Lucky I guess.

I couldnt believe it, the fact the chap was in his mid-late forties…was quite funny when he was asking if i "want some more do you?" I was like "no, your alrite ta"

It was even quite strange as to how or why its jus not in me to jump in and self defend, instead i was jus slightly confused…

Guess my thug nose will help me fit in in reading at night  a bit better!

If you report the attack to the police you will be able to claim some cash from the criminal injuries compensation board, even if you don't know the bruisers name.

It will take ages but you may get a few hundred quid out of it.

was reading up on that, know a solicitor so will talk to them about it!

Criminal injuries takes between 6 months and a year and its ?400 for a broken nose. You can apply online to make it easier for you.
