Bad day :o(

Didn't know where to post this and indeed whether I should post it but having decided to, here seemed the best place.
Today I attended the funeral of one of the wife's best mates, a week last Sunday she collapsed and died at the age of 27, leaving behind her 'fella' of 9 years and four young children between the ages of 2 and 6.
I don't do Facebook etc, I do here, and it's a very very sad day.
I don't expect anyone to reply but please remember we ain't guaranteed the 'three score years and ten' so enjoy it whilst you can. Whoever said 'life isn't fair' was spot on

Sorry for both your losses it's never nice to loose someone close.

Things like this at least make you want to live your life for today, at least thats what I try and take from it!

Bad times.  Condolances to both of you.

My other halfs grandfather has just taken a turn for the worst.  Currently in limbo and expecting the worst over the next few days.  he's at the age where the cold weather is a real threat.

Bad times!

That's no age to go Kav…….sounds like one of those sudden 'syndrome' things which is a terrible waste of life.

My step-dad was diagnosed with PSP this week which is an incurable brain disease similar to Parkinsons. He has 5 years at best they say.

 :dontknow: Life eh……

One of my friends dads has something called "motor neuron disease" it affects your nervous system and he's slowly loosing the use of his arms and will eventually spread.

His daughter (who i met on holiday in Newquay year before last) and his son did a charity gig in their local village in Norwich last year and they raised loads for him. (raise daround ?7,500!) we went up to support and help out where we could.

Only met the bloke once but he was such a nice chap, really into his VW's, I remember pulling the car around so he could see it and he went "thats a sportline right" (yes I did explain the replica) anyways, took him for a spin in it - but like I said above, gotta live life for today you never know what's gonna happen.

He's an amazing bloke, very inpiring to see how well he's handled it all, but it's such a shame when bad things happen to good people.
