Atfer 8 years im selling

well after 8 years of ownership ive decided to sell the cabby as it just doesnt get used anymore

anyone else in the same boat ive got 4 cars sat on my drive and the only one i use is the company corsa  

be sad to see it go but i think i had my fun age is now creeping up on me and a lack of enthusiasm for cars in general has taken over and a new hobby has taken control (fishing)

been looking around other forums at prices of 20vt forsale and its really hit and miss so i ve decided to price the old girl to sell quick that way i wont change my mind

sad days :cry:  but life goes on

theres plenty more fish in the sea mate :tlc:

well the plan is to clear all my cars them maybe look at getting a evo8 or a newish TT im getting to old for mk1s lol my teeth cant take it great fun tho watching people in shock as you leave them for dead

no room for the fishing poles and the kids in the TT mate - plus you had one of those engines already - go EVO

never said getting old, just said age creeps up on ya - mid 30's and dont wanna keep with the same car too long, chop n change and experience all things VAG - then maybe in time settle down with just the one daily and an old timer for weekend fun…

I'm married now so whats left to play the field with other than cars… then when i get the right oe for me, time to settle down and grow old gracefuly - lol

I'm 39 in Jan  8O  got wife and 3 kids, Christoph lives in Oz (and has for the last 3yrs  :cry: ) but Archie (2.5yrs) and Joe (6 months) need Daddy to think he's still a teenager hence cabby    

I'm 48, and it don't stop me driving my lowered mk1.

its not a age thing really things change its not even a money thing hence the reason the cabby is priced to sell its a change in interests ive had a love for fishing for years and tbh its something i can do with my dad and brother and even the kids

if the cabby doesnt sell then it will go into deep storage perhaps it will still be usable when my kids pass there tests  :?  perhaps not

i just dont have the time or enthusiasm for it anymore ive done everything i wanted to do not much left i can do to the cabby so time to move on  :wink:

ive just left all the fishing to get into the world of mk1s. What sort of fishing you doing then as i started pole fishing and then got into suffolk county team of 6 then moved on to carp fishing and been france a couple times but now moved onto the love of motoring now i have the money to run more cars.

I think I did this the wrong way round, fished when I was a kid now fettle with my mk1 at 39  :mrgreen:
