Anyone recommend somewhere to have interior re-trimmed?

Im looking to have my interior re-trimmed using material from VW Heritage.

Can anyone recommend anywhere to have this done to a very high standard?

I've been told Newton Commercial are very Good as the frames are checked and fixed before hand. I've seen a completed leather set from them, I will be using them when funds allow.

oh…do they do the re-trimming too, I new they sell the correct material but was not aware that they re-trimmed

have just bought leather seat covers and door cards from here, fitted them myself, not too difficult, look great, good price posted from germany.

Theres a guy in West Sussex that is superb

Im in Newcastle upon Tyne mate, i dont mind where the company is who carries out the work as ill send the seats by courier

These guys www.jmgrant.co.uk did mine, new cables, strip 2 front seats and rear bench, reclaim the centre stripe material and re-sew with leather bolsters, all done in 4 days and cost me a whopping £180

When I was there, there were doing full full re-trim on a old jag, a e21 BMW, old mini and a camper van.

They look mint! And cheep as chips too!

£180? damn thats cheap, i got a spare set of seats that will be going there!

An estimate for both front seats and the rear bench would be £520 + fabrics, what type of original fabric you thinking of?

No disrespect but I got the door cards done as well as the seats for that price!I aint had time to dig out the receipt to let all know who did the job(in the south though, littlehampton) but it was top job done

I should have my front seats re-done in leatherette back later this week which are costing £220 all in which I was happy with paying, the guys up here have an excellent reputation but are always busy… would have been less if had not wanted piping.  The back bench is original and almost mint so that's not been touched as are the door cards.

Ok well that would of been in leather which is a harder fabric to work with, with piping too plus that is inclusive of vat. Ive seen at least 1 person on here pay in the region of £1200 + vat for 2 front seats and a rear bench and i would of also done the door cards inclusive of that price.
