anyone into campers ?

ive allways been into vw and audi and over the yrs ive been to a few shows and stayed in b+b`s and hotels. well last yr i decided to get a t4 convert it to a camper and stay in that instead !! which i have,weve had a few fantastic times stopping over in the van, is anyone else also into campervans  ??

yep love em had the use of a type 2 back in 94 in australia, bloody awesome

we used to wander off into the outback and find remote pubs and get slaughtered and crash in the camper  :y:

Am going to use it as much as i can next year shows and camping
and when i get used to it go into europe.Can't wait.

wowwwwwwwwwwwww i love that, weve got a 74  vw camper in blue & white, just ran out of tax & mot, was so excited to get it after having to get rid of the mk1 but now looks like this will be going on the bay, father christmas is coming very soon im afraid in fact its

I've been camping in a few different VW's now. First was my brother's converted T3 panel van with a full width rock'n'roll bed.

Then we had a SWB T4 panel with a sofa bed stuck in the back. Even when it was empty the back just seemed smaller than the T3. :dontknow:

Now we've got a SWB LT panel converted to a camper with cooker and grill with a couple of benches that fold out in to a king size bed. This one has so far been the best, and it was the cheapest. I took it to the AGM in Coventry and it was great.

I've got my own T3 which is currently a twin slider panel van that may get converted to a camper/day van when I get everything else I need to do on the golf and LT sorted.

Mostly do shows nowadays with all my other commitments and working shifts. I'm coming to the end of a week off this week and would have gone camping this week but one was SORNed, one had a rotten fuel tank and the golf needs it's front end putting back on. :roll:

i love campers…met a couple of blondes in a tent one year,near the river 7 i think… :wink:
