Another Black Golf!

So the story goes…………………..The head Gasket went on my 306 TD on the way to Cornwall. The car still ran well but steamed a bit from the exhaust. Sent it off to a mates dad to sort it. Got it back and it was misfiring.Sent it back to him to check timing,etc. Told diesel pump had failed and car would now not start.

Bought diesel pump and cambelt and took it down to where I used to work for them to fit it all. Quickly told that my diesel pump was OK but the engine was b*****ed. Seems suspicious after I hadn't driven the car since being fixed. :evil:

Anyway,the long and the short of it is that the 306 is scrap and I have just added another Golf to my fleet!MK2 GTI in black for ?200.
My girlfriend is so pleased with me :wink:
