:lol: If you fitted them to a classic mini I'm sure you would be hunted down and burnt at the stake. However, not so likely with the Golf?!!

At end of day, put whatever wheels you like on - the Golf is one car that can be transformed nicely IMO with a new set of wheels (nothing wrong with the originals though!) If they look good - fit em!

i was trying to get my mate to fit the ones that look like teledials/pepper pots to his lupo, he couldent do it, so bought some clio 16v rims instead!!

was thinking about a change in rims myself, as I have been offered a set of BBS in 14"
I didn't realise that mini wheels were the same PCD etc I assumed they would be 5 stud like the new BMWs  - the cooper S wheels look cool not sure about the teledial ones though :?
All the minis i've seen look like the wheels really stick out - what sort of ET are they?

my view on wheels is.. that as long as they're not badged up BMW, Porsche etc.etc.. and they're not so big the car looks like a rollerskate

then they're fine  :wink:
