yeh i remeber seeing a gti cab about 2yrs ago and fall instanly in love with it and wanted one ever since.
then a friend told me there was a cheap one localy and i jumped at it. its needs a bit of work but nothin i cant deal with..
me mini was (well is) my pride and joy im goin miss it loads but ive got bored of it aswell, it seems slow now when i can get it round round abouts at 85-90mph :?  hehe
i was wonderin weather get rid of me cab for a gti but ill see how this goes first cuz ppl tell me the performace isnt that much difference,

Yeah there are clubs but this is the best one ! people will always try n help out just ignore the purists who critisise if a car doesnt look the way they think it should ! must say tho the cabriolet gti is alot faster than the std model , what type n year have you got , mines an 87 gti with a tuned lump . Have you had a butchers round the buyers guide yet , i found it quite helpfull even after id brought mine  . Say again tho if uve never been make sure you get to bug jam this year . :D

yeah they aint a sprinter , u need agti 4 that   look good tho . I dont know of any clubs up ur way , have a butchers under regional meets and shows section . There is some pics of my cabby under a heading called my lump of p** . Dont go to large with the wheels by the way it can really thow the handling out the window  8O

yeh im oly looking at 15" dont think any bigger look right.. the ones i like i think are called mimm diamond cut (black and silver)
the car aint flat now the previous owner had been prating about set up the fuel system rong i had no fuel return to the tank so stunk of petrol all the time and i was only gettin 30mile to 10quid lmao
and theyd welded up the carb for sum reason  :? still dont really no why.. but iver had a new carb, dizzy(that as broke), plugs, cam belt changed, timing set up, oil - filter changes, and the fuel set up put rite now runs 100% better.
but i got me eye on a sportline    when i sell me car i can afford one and im cosidering it
