advice on buying a mag burner

Hi Guys & Girlies,

Long time no see

Looking to buy my fella a mag burner a blue n yellow one, thats about as much info as i know about them, been looking on ebay and there going from anywhere up to 550 for a mint one, does anyone else know where best place to look, dont wanna get ripped off, i want a grotty one for back of our camper & a mint one for his bday

ye thats the one the blue & yellow one, he got one for chrimbo when he was a lad, so he wants same, going through a mid life crisis me finks lol, cheers matey

ooooooh, that brings back memories, T nuts, mushy grips, endos, bunny hops, bear trap pedals taking the skin off me shins and not to forget goolies smashing into the big block of metal holding the handlebars in place OUCH!!!  8O

i aint seen either of them in yeeeaaaarrrrssss , all my mates had burners and night burners and the gold one as above but i still had ma raleigh chopper as ma parents were skint 8)

Choppers were ace   The old 'this seat is not designed to carry more than one person' label, course it was that's why it was sooo big   Used to get 3-4 on but it did have an effect on stability

think that was on the mk2 versions, the original ones had longer seats and adjustable handlebars and a gear knob(the mk2 gear lever was like a button off a duffle coat)
.oh and didnt early ones only come in orange and like a dull yellow??  the mk2 came in red and purple(i had one)(im 45 you know)
Saw a early version for sale at £600 last october in an antique shop. fully refurbed, chrome, paint the lot…she wouldn`t let me :roll:  :roll:

…and on the last day (1983) God made this, in his spare time after finishing the last Mk1 early  :mrgreen:
