Ace Cafe in the North
Wouldn't it be great if there was an 'Ace Cafe' type meeting place in the North of England? I also like what they do in Poole, where they have regular meet son the harbour. I know there are places that people meet with Mk 1's and watercooled, but they just tend to be car parks. Manchester would be a good location for something similar if someone had th emoney and vision.

I'm 10 minutes drive from Ace and I hardly EVER go. I think the key is not the location but the determination to actually go.

I'm not that far from Ace and I've always wanted to go…. Maybe we should have a little meet up there?

Are there any 'old' road cafes left in the NW?? Old biker meeting places?? Or places with a motoring pedigree that could be a focal point? Not just thinking for Mk1's but other classics and bikes, aswell, like 'The Ace'. I suppose if one place was popularised then it becomes an involuntary meeting place….!

Are there many diners still left out there? Remember 'Starvin' Marvins' in the early 90's and the OK Diners?? I think they have gone now….

Ok diners are still about, there's a few on the A1 so they still exist. Not sure about in the NW tho…
