Its a Fiat colour I think….no all to sure though!

Who else runs with the older style number plates? And how often do you get stopped with them?!?

I love those alloys, very smart. I've been thinking about getting the old style number plate myself. It's supposed to be on pre '71 cars though isn't it? Anyway they would look smart on a white GTi Cab'  8)

I think the alloys are Le Castellet (15" ones), as fitted to Rivage cabbys. Black number plates are distinctly dodgy and since post-1972 cars shouldn't have them fitted, don't even look 'retro', just different for the sake of it. If you're going to have a dodgy plate, get a German one!

Show use only, of course…..

agreed, get annoyed when i see cars going around with black and white plates on and arent pre 72, its kind of like whats the point, your cars way over the time frame for them, and never came with them, so why put them on, its like new beetles going around with them

nice car by teh way looks very cool  :D

nice car bud   im sort of two ways about the plates, i think they look good with the right colour, obviously there are some nice retro mk1 colours, but some colours make it look more modern :?  i had a papyrus green car and they looked fantastic, not as good on mars red :(

i think the 'they shouldnt have them on' argument is just the same for a british registered car with german plates on!

anyway they both look cool 8)  just stay away from the chaved reflective carbon fibre ittalics with the playboy bunny logo in the corner
