9000 mile swallow tail

Reading an old VWM mag(June 1999) I came across an article about a P reg 9000 mile Golf N…
It was Kodak yellow in colour and looks near mint by the 1999 photos. Bought new by a lady in Nantwich, she later gave it to her neighbour who took it to her holiday home in Cornwall and only used it for two weeks each year while on holiday. The car ended up in the Science Museum's special transport display. Anyone know if its still there or where it is now. I wrote a bit a few weeks ago about my Lemon yellow Golf L on the old forum and we have now crossed the 100,000 line. I managed to do it on the cars 26th birthday and outside my uncles house who owned the car from new. will post some pics soon. by the way, thanks for the comments on my Golf.

The colour is in fact called Chrome Orange. I have this colour on one of my swallowtails.

Nice car from the article, but not sure of its current whereabouts.
