recently sold a real nice 78 1.1n mk1 with 53k on it and wrote of a 250k gti a few years back!tomo320 said

Well cool
My first gti had 50k on it , such a solid car, ive yet to see one in such good nick, none of the usual problems ops:
Actualy sold it then bought it back 2 years later then sold it again, amasingly I originaly bought it from a scrap yard, rotten fuel filler neck had humped the system. Original owner got fedup and freewheeled it down the hill outside his house to my uncles scrappies at the bottom
Give my right arm for it back now :cry:
