79 S1 gti on ebay

This looks worth saving and not long to go someone better get there bidding sticks out , i cant as i'm nearly bald with fustration (mines STILL in the paintshop) and i cant shut my garage door as it is and i'm getting married . Why do they always appear when there's just no way you could get away with buying them .

The spray shop . Ive used him before , He's really good and dosent rip you off but trying to get him to pin down a finish date is a nightmare . At the moment i'm hoping to get it back on the 19th and have it on the road mid september. That only leaves 3 weeks before my trip to nurburgring so i'm hoping i wont get let down again . Still the engines done and i'm just waiting for the gearbox driveshaft seals to arrive and then thats done too , so hopefully a 2 1/2 week rebuild is not out of the question. Soon i will be as happy as you phil. :pray:  :pray:  :pray:

Well guys looks like i bought it (?136) could be a bargin or a money pit???either way i plan to restore it to its former glory but for the mean time it will be put away in storage until funds permit to start the new project

I just used it to search for Golf (had to remove "Gold" from the search window though as it returned 40K+ results!) and I can't believe how people have mis-spelled Golf!

Golg (One guy has made the same mistake on three listings!!!) and Glof seem to be pretty common errors!!
