can anyone tell me what colour this is??

Difficult to tell from a pic, but it looks like silver - in which case, probably the VW standard one of the era, Diamond Silver Metallic. You're going to tell me its light blue now…..

     yep its like a light silvery blue I cant find the paint code any where

Looks like Sapphire Metallic (L5) which was being used on the clippers in that year.
