"mini-OCDs"

has anyone got some.. not like the full time obsessive compulsives.. but things that really annoy us that are done wrong.. i'll start:

the main one for me is CDs.. all of the CDs i own are exactly aligned to their cases and straight when viewing

the second is plugs. if a plug has nothing in it, but is switched on.. i can help but to turn it off (and believe me, its got me into troubel at school a few times (exams ops)

so come on.. open up 8)

you'd struggle on my tv.. no numbers, just bars that arent set specifically.. as in if you go up, the jumps between volume is larger than when going down.. i'll leave you to set it :wink:

just turned my Mac volume down to 3 btw 8)

i have to switch lights off when people arent around. Makes me mad going into an office at night and all the pcs are on standby and the lights are on FFS

oh and also i have to park in a certain position wheels must be straight, leave the car in 1st gear and put the sterring lock on a certain angle.

With my CD's and DVD's they're all in alphabetical order cause if I can't find thme when I want them I get stressey.

Also a weird one.. If i spin around and I've taken notice that I've done it for some reason I have to turn back the other way or everything feels a bit un balanced.

work staff room people leaving the microwave with time on it and the door open that really wides me up    

coz im the "wearhouse lady" which is a nice manly job where i get to drive a forklift all day i hate it when other peeps come in and move stuff  

putting rubbish on the side or on the floor wen the bin is next to u grrrr  :twisted:

If I am late leaving the office I will go around and turn everyones screen off. They all leave them on standby.

But if I am at home I leave my PC on all day  :dontknow:

When hanging my clothes up to dry I don't like putting pairs of socks together, I have to alternate them.

I'm going now before I say anything else weird

I have to eat mcdonalds chicken nuggets in a certain order (as there is only 4 shapes)

all my xbox games are alphabetically ordered

I HAVE to make sure all my work/personal email accounts are organised and delete anything that I've done or don't need… SPAM DRIVES ME MENTAL  

used to be a bit funny about mess inside my car  ops: but I've overcome that one

Thats nutter stuff that is, even to know theres only 4 shapes.

But tbf, if i get a burger i have to eat all the chips before i eat the burger, duno why just standard.

I have to keep my cds in a nice order so ill know what im looking for but they generally get mashed in my car, use copys all the time as i know theil get scratched to bits.

And i agree with the volume. Not about the odd numbers.

When ever i see my car i have to look round it and clean any dirt off it i can see….

In the morning when i play music i pla the first few tunes at like half volume, then go up from there as in the morning youve got to get used to it….

you know what i mean.

At work i cant stand having fonts at ood numbered sizes. eg, if its 11pt ill round it down to 10pt etc…

I always have to line beer mats / coasters up to the edge of the table.

I never reply on posts about OCDs........Damn

Mini OCD's, having loads of mini ones - is this as bad as having ONE BIG OCD ??????

Mine are:
Turning off plug sockets that have nothing plugged into them ( I even do this in corridoors etc ); 8O
Eating food in a particular order eg, if i have sausage, chips, and peas I'l leat all the peas first then the sausages then the chips and this applies to any food  

Not driving the car when it looks like rain   (bizzarre !!);

And there are more for me I'm sure….. ops:

Oh another one, cause of the above mention of food, I split food evenly and chew with both sides of my mouth example, pack of wotists, one goes in the left then one on the right!

If there's an odd number, god help me, haha!

Whenever I get in my car I just have to pump the accelerator, turn the ignition on then pump the accelerator a bit more and swear before I drive off.

Does that count?

I find parying with mine seems to help  

Another one for me:
Getting new parts for the mk1 and refusing to fit them as it will make other parts look dirty.    :roll:

Oh, and on the wotsists front,  I do the same with peanuts, even numbers only and same qty both sides  ops:

Are these mini ocd's just common to MK1 golf owners ???!?!?
