welder/restoration in manchester/NW

DOnt know if this is the correct forum for it but im in need of a welder who can sort a hole out and my front passenger side jacking mount.

Are there anyone on here or anyone have any recomendations i can go to to get this work done?

Also any idea on the cost?  is it going to cost loads or a few hundred quid?

Rust is like icebergs….if you have a small hole there, I bet there's extensive corrosion along the remaining areas of the sill, hidden by paintwork!!!

so how bad is it going to be? is it going to be a big job? still need to know of places that may do it

well the round jacking point is just moving upwards when the jeck hits it under pressure so i think it either needs strengthening or that part of the floor rewelding (?) i have no clue about welding sorry

But then there is a hole about 3 inches long under the sill that i wanted doing before i realised the jacking point problem.

But if what paul says is true then i dont know what to do :/ it needs sorting i know but i dont know where i could take it

The hole is on the passenger side A pillar, about 4-5 inches long. i then also need the jacking points strengthening.

Ive asked but no one answers to say anyone who could do it. Even bodyshops or anything.

Just dont know how much its going to cost if i go to a proper garage

There is a mobile welder on here that Foxy recommended. Perhaps you could check him out. Also there is a good welder on one of the back streets of Bolton. You can always ask a garage for a quote before you commit yourself. I reckon you could get your car sorted for about £300.
