Me and a few mates have had some problems with the parts they supply and recently I had a mk1 golf steering rack that I thought I should mention on here. The problem is the gear linkage bracket will not bolt to the rack. There was a 6mm gap behind the bracket.

When I returned it they got another off the shelf and it was the same so the whole batch is faulty. There was no problem getting a refund and because I live locally it didn't cost me anything. 99% of there custom is through eBay so postage won't be refunded.

This is the last thing I will be buying from them as they didn't even apologise for the hassle. I have also had problems with there engine mounts degrading after 6 months, also track rod ends splitting after 12 months. Ball joints splitting, mk2 track rods supplied instead of mk1s. The list goes on so buyers beware

And I had a fuel filler neck off them that was totally rubbish all the bends in all the wrong places 

Blimey this surprises me, I've bought a fair few parts off them and for my MK2 as well and have had no issues with parts - they tend to be similar brands to what everyone else sells and their service had been top notch too  

There service is top notch there parts are cr P  

Bought a carb mount from them. Quality was average. Prices seem cheap for a reason.

Hey sporttrucker, where abouts are you from in Cornwall?

I am near Penzance. I understand that they are cheap but if the parts need to be replaced after 12 months then its false economy.

I have also been using them for years as my last 3 cars have been mk1's, but things like that make me worry about there quality control. after seeing the state of all of the rubber parts I have had, after 12 months use, I wouldn't use them again.

I will stick some pics up of the parts I am not happy with.
