Respray

Hello fellow Mk1 owners,

I've got my mk1 '83 cabby tucked up for winter but am looking to get it up to top condition in the new year.

As part of the process I want it resprayed and the rear arches welded as they've disappeared but are quite handily under the BBS bodykit so on on display.

I'm based in Manchester (Irlam) and am wondering if there is a local painter / welder who could do it for us?

There is a local garage round the corner from my work called auto care assist and he has quoted be £1600 for a respray (hood in place) and for welding and also taking the windscreen out and sorted a couple of small rust spots on the frame.

Sounds a reasonable price but being a business man, is there anyone on here who could take it on and do it for us?
