seat trimming
just try looking under trimmers in yellow pages etc, i had quotes for a full leather re trim for ?1,500. depends on how bad the int is. i looked on the parts for sale forum and got a full interior for ?80.00. it's original like mine, but i will have to canibalise the two seats to get one mint set, but thats the way it goes. i had a quote from the local trimmer in Derby to strip my seats and repair the bolster on the driver side for ?50.00, so it's not to painful at ?100.00. how good are you with a needle and thread? you could take your old covers off and un stitch them, pin them down on some 3mm marine ply and draw around them, marking the stitch/seem lines, then cut the shapes out. transfer these on to your new cloth/vinyl and cut them out, you would need an industrial sewing machine (with piping foot if you putting the piping back on) as i don't reckon a domestic one would be tough enough, maybe someone who does upholstery on leather sofas etc. hope this helps and is not to confusing.
good luck.
good luck.
