mk1 specialist South London

Can anyone recommend a good mk1 mechanic in/near South London please? - I am in Herne Hill SE24, have a 91 Rivage convertible - and I'm tired of people who don't know the mk1 thoroughly.

I'm prepared to travel if anyone has a really strong recommendation, not too far away as time is tight.

Current problems: fuse box - possible source of ignition burn outs, electric hood piston leak, accelerator pedal loose, bumpy ride (possibly been lowered and local road bumps make driving a bore).

Grateful for any recommendations.

if your willing to drive to erith, kent you could use the engine shop… they are fantastic, jim (who i think is the owner) is a dude and has done a fantastic job on my engine refurb.

i'm currently bedding it in, but he was professional, on the phone and in person, gave heaps of detail, gave me heaps of info and paperwork listing what he'd one to her. what was replaced etc..
cheap too for considering the amount of work.

they are very busy tho so be patient with them…he had my car for about 3 weeks but then i wasn't in a rush and was willing to wait for him to find the time to do my car.
