LTNS - One Last Push Or It's an R32!!!

Hi All,

Ain?t been around for a while, probably because we had the wettest winter in history (well my drivers seat was soaked permanently anyway  :banghead: )

Basically I was thinking of selling the Karmann Clipper this summer and buy myself a super reliable R32 with all the mod cons, but I'm wanting to check something before I do…

Do any of you know of a garage/specialist that can fix a cabrio roof with a guarantee?  I got a new mohair roof fitted last year, but I think its the trims etc that are causing the leak.  I am at my wits end with troubleshooting and trying to figure it out, so instead I just want to hand over my credit card and have it fixed!!!

I am actually that desperate that I'm willing to travel a fair distance, obviously I would like for it to be in Scotland, but with the weather getting better I don't mind a road trip to have it sorted once and for all! 8)

I don't really want to get rid of my daily driven Clipper, especially as the engine is unbelievably reliable, but if I can't sort this its time for a modern car and a dry arse?
 :y:

'Transcal' in Livingston is very highly regarded. X5 PEA recently got some 911 seats retrimmed there and they are awesome.
Phone Number:  01506 440111

Place in Edinburgh called 'A Ramsay' next to IKEA too. Dont have a number for this, but sure it wouldnt be hard to google.

Hope this helps!

Cheers for the quick reply Andrew…

Had a look at Transcal in Livingston, website below…

http://www.transcal.co.uk/index.html

Sadly it turns out they only do leather, but the website is very impressive and suddenly I'm tempted to get my headliner done there

As for the A Ramsay the best details I could find was as below…

W A Ramsay  0131 440 0555
Unit 2, Pentland Industrial Estate, Loanhead, EH20 9QH

I'm going to give them a phone tomorrow and see what kind of service they offer.

Ideally I'm looking for a company that guarantee's a dry roof, maybe I'm asking to much but they're must be a couple of company's out there assured of their ability!  :dontknow:
