Looking for garages in and around Redditch/bromsgrove/Worcester

Hi all

Picked up my third mk1 this weekend

Does anybody know of any garages local to the title?

As there are a few issues that need sorting

What sort of issues are we talking about. I may be able to point you in the right way. 

I think it's the carb…. (No good with carbs)

It struggles to start from cold and warm. And the idle is low and also when pulling up to a stop, it wants to die (battery light flickers)

It could do with a service by the look of things but I'm thinking possibly carb

If the idle is low that will most likely be the reason it stalls when you pull up. You can try adjusting the idle with the idle screw. Then an oil change may make all the difference.

Haha sorry I should of explained my self, I meant this is my third one, I sold my other 2 and always come crawling back,

Hi,

I use to live in Redditch and I use to use a chap by the name of Gary on Lakeside industrial Estate.  He use to race BMW M5s.

Sorry but I can't remember the name of his garage but there was a tyre place near him that also carry out MOTs, that know Gary.


He and his son are very good mechanics if you struggle to sort the issue.
