garage/mechanic needed West London area

hi all, need a new clutch fitted to my cabby, its on its way out. Would like to use someone or where that will look after her and some one i can use for future projects (series 1 tin top!)
Im in the Hounslow/Richmond area. dont mind travelling but not to far.
Any ideas?

I can recommend a place called "Putney Motors". They have done quite a bit of work on my car: suspension stuff mostly. Tell them you know Mr Evans with the Blue Mk1 GTI!

They aren't cheap, but they seem to know their stuff. They recently rebuilt the gearbox on an immaculate E30 M3 - not an easy job….and last week had a top Aston Martin. They charged me 30 quid to change a CV boot and oil change….not Mk1 experts but good enough to change a clutch!

Otherwise there is a small garage very close to GSF in Feltham (the main GSF warehouse) - it's in the same estate but I can't remember their name - do a search on google. Anyway, tel number of place in Putney is;

clutch change is such a basic job for a mechanic that any reputable garage should be able to do it.
