garage/mechanic in north london area

can anyone recommend a reliable garage in north london area??

im trying to find someone in london for some paintwork and  so on and got no replies. doesnt seem like there is anyone in London who does MK1's

From my experiences there all a bunch of jokers
Am trying to find a reliable garage myself.

I've been recommended a guy in North West London, havent actually been down to see them yet though.

i can recommend you to a garage, they are a german car specialist and will be more then happy to help you, pm me or look them up in yellow pages? a and s motors, burnt oak broadway, edgeware

AM looking to get some work done on my car real soon.
Suspension overhaul. Refurb or replace alloy wheels, Piper cam set up, tune up, Steering rack and also need to get my fuel pump attached properly as all the cowboys i been to so far dont seem to understand the basics about these cars. I mean there not rocket science and should be very simple to work on.

yeah go there, they will hook you up no doubt, everything except the alloys, you need to go to a refurber for them

just to help you all ,that need help with there mk1 's in north london area well st albans just on the m25 j22
when i was 17yrs old he had two mk1's now im 33yrs old and he own's his own place and dose pv for people with vw's and ive let him rip my mk1 apart to fit the problem he know just about every nut and bolt on the mk1 give him a call if you need help

as said, he knows mk1's and will give good service. you CAN tell him lee forwarded the same number. in fact say you got his number from a MR BOND.

btw. he still has a mk1
