full respray

ive been wanting one for a while and been to one place where they quoted me £1500+ which i wasnt surprised about tbh
but i came across one of my friends friends on t'old facebook and hes done some exellent work on some cars so thought id give him a try i was expecting in exess of £1000 went to see him today and he quoted me £750 + whatever if he comes across any hidden things.    so when ive had it done ill let u guys know how it is

No mate, lost my job and got f.all money ATM only just managing to run the golf let alone pay for anything else

Ah shame, im contemplating getting a mk1 off ebay thats all primed up ready for paint etc. Got a quote from a guy i know of 800-1000, just totting up the countless other bits im going to be needing along the way  :mrgreen:

im 15 minutes from middlesbrough, 1 hour from newcastle, sunny Saltburn :mrgreen: yeh full re-spray, theres a mk1 on ebay all stripped and primed that im after, its only an hour from me so is closer than anything ive seen. Any of you seen it?

watcha think? I wanted to go see it last week but the guy said he has had loads of time wasters so was going to re-list it. Might see if it goes, if not ill see if i can get a bit off it n just go pick it up...
