engine work in wolverhampton needed

im looking for a recomendation for getting a mk1 1.8 gti engine cleaned up

as in looked at to seee if it needs any work, maybe check the head  and valves and a cleanup, change rings, check bottom end is good etc etc

came belt change core plugs ??

theirs some new guys opened up on millfields road behind the new shell petrol station before the roundabout they do a lot of mk1 golfs and own a few to.

My car is at berts now been their for nearly 3 wks now he has practically rebuilt everything for me from the engine to suspension,I can't praise him enough he is over in blackheath if you pm him like I did I'm sure he will answer you.
