Decent/specialist Mk1 garage near Chelmsford, Essex

Hi–taking delivery next weekend of my 'J' reg mk1, Rivage.  it's in amazing condition with 92k on the clock, but I want to get it serviced to find out what I'm going to need to spend money on (and thinking of upgrading the breaks!!)

Can anyone recommend a decent or specialist VW garage I could take it too somewhere in the Chelmsford area please?

I know a VAG trained technician called Alan although ive not seen him in years, has a workshop in Boreham just opposite the turn off for the gravel pits. Sure he is still there.
He wouldnt be keen on anyone just turning up though and i lost touch with him a long while ago so dont have his number, but if you ask for Trevor @ GSF on the dukes park industrial estate im sure he would point you in the right direction with a telephone number.
