Decent garage in Glos/Bristol area for my cabby?

Can anyone recommend a decent garage in the Gloster/Bristol area, preferably one that does mot's and knows something about carbs! I have tried a couple of vw specialists!!! in my area but often the car comes back in a worse state than when it went    Recommendations desperately needed.
