hey,

took my mk1 golf c formel e in and gave the garage a list of jobs I wanted them to do went like this!

oil
oil filter
spark plugs
ht leads
condenser
distributor
contact breaker points
brake fluid change
valve clearances
compression test on all four cylinders
emissions test with results
ignition timing

the only work they had done when i got my car back was change the oil and filter and the spark plugs but the reason i took the car into the garage was just because it had a faulty condenser! I speak to the garage and they tell me that my car don't even have a condenser and points it has an electronic ignition   yea course it don't lol! so get the same garage to recover the car too sort out the work they didnt doo finally weeks later get the car back and after driving it about 10 miles got home had a look under the bonnet and the brake fluid reservoir cap was broken off glad I got home safe!  avoid like the plague!
