Hope to make a meet soon in my newly acquired Mk2 8v GTI! I still have the cab but it's for sale I have to recommend a garage to anyone near Blackburn. It's BOSS Motors on Carluke St in Blackburn, Ash and his lads are fantastic, sorted my clutch/gearbox issues out at the right price and they all drive VWs :clapping: one of 'em has a 16v :shhh: and has an Alpine White 5dr VR6 project on the go (Hiya Nige :thumbs:

I no longer have the Mk1!! I now whizz round in a Black 1990 3dr Mk2 GTi 8v but the roof doesn't fold back when the sun shines
