Anyone in Chester area?

Hi,

Is there anyone, garage/person, in the Chester area who can have a butchers at my '83 gti? I know there's Central VW Audi, but i've had a few problems with them in the past (leaving the brake light switch unconnected, and brakes peeing out brake fluid after brake pipe change, with me driving it home in heavy traffic with the mrs in the car )

Anyway, it's to do with my post in the injection engine forum about my electrical/engine cutting out problem.

I would call out an auto electrician but it would be nice to have someone who loves golfs, or at least knows a lot about them have a look.

I'm nearby (South Wirral), I'm not a garage but I don't mind taking a look. I've read the thread, its unlikely to be an electrical issue, if it was it would either work or not?

Yeah, i have no idea what it is to be honest mate, im not the most technically clued up guy.

If you could have a look at it that would be fantastic. I miss driving it, and getting to work on public transport is a right mither.

I originally thought it would be the dizzy, but the guy in the garage (not sure on his reliability either) said it would be electrical.

Would you want me to come to you, when you have a spare moment? Engine problems permitting of course, and do you have any idea what it could be then?
