any mobile mechanic near kilburn london?

have a mk1 1.5 auto with fuel carb problem-keeps cutting out once choke off, local garages want 40+ to have a look if it made it there

theres a garage on EXETER RD
KILBURN STATION ARCHES, they do alot of old VWs.
thers a VW guy workd on LOVERIDGE ROAD ARCHES

You can't sell it, that's crazy. I know a garage in Neasden that will have a look at it for you, I get work done there myself and the owner's a nice bloke. PM me if you need a number, I'm around next week so if you heed a hand getting it there let me know.

well that's the point. the first garage that had a look" could of at least tried to find out what prob was. theres 2 vw specialist garages nearby the one loveridge and a street away off maygrove rd (should of took it one of them in the first place). might do next week.

But will still be putting it up for sale as the garage I borrowed from council, may take it back soon and I'd prefer to stick with 3 pound pw petrol for scooter and free parking cc etc.
I'm sure anyone from this site buying it will appreciate it more than me.
