9 spoke refurb?
Hello!
Does anyone know how much you should expect to pay for a basic refurb of mk1 9 spoke alloys? I only need two doing - they're not too badly damaged, just a few scratches from kerbing, they'd been sprayed some time ago and it's coming off in flakes now! The rear two are immaculate so I'd like them to all look as good! What options are there for refurbs? Never had it done before…ops:
Thanks for any advice.

Thanks for the advice peeps. Ta G6eorge, I'd love to cut out the hard work and buy a newly refurbished set of alloys, but just cant afford it. I'll have to settle for getting two of my existing ones done in the near future. Cheers anyway. I'm sure they'll be snapped up soon.

You'll probably not get the paint match quite right between the okay ones and the flakey ones - one way round it is to fit both refurbed ones on one side of the car - then you'll not see one and another together. You need to be careful weith tyres though.
If its the front ones that are flakey - make sure your front brakes aren't binding on and heating up too hot and busting the paint off that way.

Thats a thought, puttin the refurbed ones on one side! I'll look out for extra damage at the front, but they were already flaking before I put them on the car so it's hard to tell. Thanks for the advice though!
